PIPESTONE TOWNSHIP

BOARD MEETING

AUGUST 13, 2007

The Pipestone Township Board met August 13, 2007 at the Township Hall at 8:00pm. The meeting was called to order with the Pledge of Allegiance

CALL TO ORDER

Board members present were Hazen Harner, Alan Nimtz, Richard Skibbe, Robert Bishop and Doug Davis. Also having eight guests present.

MEMBERS PRESENT

A motion made by Bishop, supported by Skibbe to accept the minutes of the July 9, 2007 Board Meeting as received prior to the meeting. MOTION CARRIED.

MINUTES APPROVED

Skibbe, having deposits for the month of $2,051.24, filed treasurer�s report as read. Leaving a balance in the general fund of $49,450.70.

TREASURER�S REPORT

Deputy Greg Morrow from the Berrien County Sheriff Department presented a monthly Police Report for Pipestone Township. He discussed the report having thirty-three written complaints, fifty-three tickets issued and eight arrests in Pipestone Township.

POLICE REPORTS

Tom Stiles from the fire Department stated they had a total of thirty-two calls for the month of July, nine in which were in Pipestone Township

FIRE REPORT

Harner presented the Master Plan, written and on CD, He had asked if all county and State approvals have been made, they had not got back with him as of the meeting.

MASTER PLAN

Board members had received a unsigned compliant against Watson Road

COMPLAINT

A motion made by Skibbe, supported by Bishop to approve monthly disbursements totaling $10,067.42. Not to pay Southwestern Commission ($4802.00) until State approval MOTION CARRIED

With no further business to discuss, Supervisor Harner adjourned the meeting at 8:25pm
